Cookie Policy
What we store in your browser, why, and how to control it.

Overview
We use cookies and similar browser storage (local storage and IndexedDB) to keep you signed in, remember your work in the studio, measure how the site is used, and process payments. This page explains each category. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
Essential storage
These are required for the studio to work and cannot be switched off without breaking core features:
Sign-in session
Our authentication provider stores your session token in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits.
Studio preferences and drafts
Local storage keeps your in-progress prompt, artist name, and album title, recent generation history, and small interface preferences (for example, whether you have already seen a tooltip).
Image cache
Generated covers and style previews are cached in your browser's IndexedDB so your gallery loads quickly. The cache stays on your device.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find the site. It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_*, which can last up to two years. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
Payment cookies
When you upgrade, checkout is handled by our payment processor on its own pages. It may set cookies needed to process the payment and prevent fraud; those are governed by the processor's own policies. We do not store full card numbers.
Managing Cookies
You can view, block, or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing site data for albumcover.art signs you out and removes unsaved drafts and cached images from that browser; covers saved to your account are not affected. Blocking essential storage will prevent the studio from working.
